A President's Passion for Making Music

Jonathan Hauser,
President of
The Fox Valley Orchestra

Jonathan Hauser has a passion for music. All kinds, but particularly the strains usually experienced in a concert hall - where accomplished musicians fill the air with the refrains of past musical masters. Early in his career you would often find a trumpet pressed to his lips. That changed at Marmion Academy where his teacher strongly suggested he try the French horn. That's the horn that looks like a spiral with a large bell on the end. After Marmion and college Jonathan used all his talents to become a founder of the Fox Valley Orchestra (FVO). Today, he is the president.

Under the direction of world renowned conductor, Colin Holman, Jonathan and his musical colleagues thrill our hearts and souls with melodies commonly only experienced in the most recognized halls in the world. Their music is an experience and something Jonathan and his associates want to share with everyone, especially in the Fox Valley.

At this time, the FVO does a dozen major performances each year, splitting them between the Norris Center in St. Charles and Crimi Auditorium at Aurora University. When the stars are aligned correctly, larger audiences are entertained at our own Paramount Theater.
